06-02-2007 : With the car finally back together I decided to start heading back out to some car shows.  One I went to years ago and remembered being a lot of fun was the American Irons car show hosted by the Mid Hudson Valley Corvette Association.  They open it up to Mustangs and Vipers too which I think is a really good twist.

Jordan decided to tag along and the look on his face was priceless when he climbed inside the C5 and saw the helicopters up close, especially when one landed right behind his car.

The heat was definitely there today, several bottles of water, Gatorade and anything else you could drink - the only salvation was going inside the hangar bay to cool off.

Unfortunately I only took Third Place for the day - such is the down fall of a popular vote car show where it's not who has the nicest cars but who has the most friends.  There were several extremely clean stock cars who didn't place and it was a shame as they were very deserving, especially the orange Mach that was two cars down from me.
