03-09-04 : Well one of the last pieces of the puzzle arrived  - the Accufab oval throttle body.  The oval unit is designed for applications that are going to exceed 550hp and can flow an exceptional amount of air.  At first I was considering ordering a custom unit since nothing else on the car is polished, however time and other aspects made me decide on a standard polished unit - I figure I can always glass bead it if I want a change.  So I went to the online store at ModularDepot.Com (since my last experience with the camshafts was so positive) and ordered the TB.  Again I received a prompt email confirming my order and the item was at my door in just over a week - normal shipping from CA to NY for an in stock item.  Pricing was great, as was service - you can't go wrong with them.  My thanks to Ken and crew for their service and best of luck on their new venture - MD Motorsports!

As for the unit itself, the blade operation is smooth, the size of the throat is amazing compared to the stock 2v unit.  The polished piece contrasts the RR intake quite well - I will have to see how it looks with the remaining pieces under the hood.  Initial driving results from others with similar combinations say the throttle is extremely smooth and crisp - I should have a full report in about a month!
